Creative Adventures with the Graceful Squeegee

I'm an artist-designer-maker who loves to travel and then sketch, collage and print my adventures. I started my own brand called GraceInk Design in 2009, creating hand-drawn, screen-printed interior products and stationery. In more recent years, I've been working as a University Teaching Technician, teaching Undergraduate, Postgraduate and PhD students the art of textile screen-printing and digital applications. In addition, I completed further study graduating with an MSc in Textile Research in 2019 and a Postgraduate Teaching Certificate in 2022.

Teaching and further study has pushed my own creativity in new and exciting directions. I'm a real screen-print geek, furthering my repertoire by developing computer skills focussing on AVA CAD/CAM and Adobe Photoshop software. I love the creative hybridity of utilising both digital and hand techniques to achieve thought-provoking artwork on a variety of substrate bases. This coupled with my passion for travel both at home and abroad has led to the creation of work you can view below.
